English icon ::Janet suprises Tamyra
Posted on 12 Jul 2007 by Mario

Tyra and Janet wanted to surprise this super fan so they invited her to the show under the guise of performing “Love Would Never Do Without You” in a talent show. As Tamyra got into the groove of moving to her favorite singer’s music, out came Antonio Sabato Jr., who was Janet’s co-star in the aforementioned video. Tamyra didn’t seem to recognize him but enjoyed having a fine man to dance with nonetheless. Then came the icon herself. Janet snuck up behind Tamyra and tapped her on the shoulder. Tamyra turned around and was absolutely shocked speechless upon seeing her idol. This was Tamyra’s moment to tell Janet in person the profound influence she made in her life. She told Janet about how her music brought her back from the verge of death. The two women compared their sankofas. Tamyra showed her idol her humorous side when she told her that she even got her elderly clients dancing to Janet’s beats at the nursing home where she worked. Janet, ever humble, told Tamyra that she was happy that her music changed and saved her life.
